DESCRIPTION:Are you looking for a convenient and engaging way to pick up your mandatory 8 annual refresher training hours? Are you interested in useful\, timely\, and up-to-date guidance where you can ask your questions and get answers in real time? \nAs an EEO counselor or investigator\, you are required by the EEOC to complete an 8-hour annual refresher course.  Don’t take training just to check the box. Use this opportunity to refine your skills and improve your EEO knowledge. \nJune 3 – Day 1 Topics: A focus on updates to reasonable accommodation in 2026\, including granting (or legally denying) telework\, religious accommodations\, and temporary accommodations under the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act. Plus\, we’ll discuss service and emotional support animals in the workplace. \nJune 4 – Day 2 Topics: A focus on harassment\, including sex-based harassment\, race-based and retaliatory harassment\, updates on religious harassment\, and more. \nLearning objectives\n\nAvoid common mistakes made by counselors and investigators.\nIdentify trending challenges in EEO case law.\nIdentify the latest in reasonable accommodation and harassment claims.\nUnderstand your important role in the process.\n\nTraining time\n12:30 pm – 4:30 pm ET each day \nPricing\nEarly bird (register by May 3\, 2026): \n\n2 days = $995\n1 day = $550\n\nStandard (register through May 5 – June 4\, 2026): \n\n2 days = $1\,095\n1 day = $650\n\nEvent FAQs\nCan I attend this class using my government computer? \nThis event will be held on Zoom. Many government computers and systems allow Zoom access. If\, for some reason\, your firewall will not allow access\, you are welcome to use your personal email address to register and to attend the sessions from your personal device. Dial-in telephone access is also available. \nCan I earn CLE credits for this class?\nCLE applications are the responsibility of each attendee; FELTG does not apply for the credits on behalf of attendees. If you are seeking CLE credit\, you may use the materials provided by FELTG in submission to your state bar. You may also request a certificate of completion\, which will contain the number of training hours attended. \nCan I share my access link with co-workers?\nNo. Registration for this event is per individual\, and access links may not be shared. Each link may only be used by one person. \nCan I register a teleworker?\nThis event is individual registration\, so the cost is the same whether the person is teleworking or attending from an agency facility. \nHow do I receive a group discount?\nGroup discounts are available for agencies registering 10 or more individuals for the full event by the early bird registration deadline. The group discount must be requested in writing with registration submission via email or fax. \nWhat are the Substitute\, Cancellation\, and No-show Policies for registered participants?\nSubstitutions may be made at no cost with advance notice to FELTG. We kindly request a 24-hour advance notice. No substitutions will be permitted within one hour of the training start time. No cancellations are accepted within 30 days of the training start date. No cancellations are accepted on prepaid registrations. There are no refunds for no-shows.
