What types of training does FELTG offer?
FELTG offers three types of training:
Live Training: These instructor-led sessions take place in real time. They are open to Federal agencies and the public. By logging into FELTG’s virtual training platform (Zoom), participants may attend from the agency office or home. Most Live Training is held virtually, but FELTG also offers in-person Live Training based on demand.
Agency Direct: FELTG instructors come to your agency – either in-person or virtually – on a day and time that’s convenient to you. Training is provided for a per-day flat fee. FELTG can present Agency Direct training via any agency virtual platform (Zoom, Webex, Teams, etc.).
Pre-recorded: A number of FELTG training recordings can be purchased through our online store for viewing on Vimeo.

How do I register for a Live Training? How early should I register?
There are two ways to register for a training:
- Participants may register and pay for a training on the website. Click on any Live Training and and complete the course registration section on the right side of the page.
- Download a registration form from the Live Training event webpage. Forms are fillable and may be emailed or faxed. Registration forms must be filled out completely before being submitted, unless you are unable for security purposes. If you cannot complete the registration form in its entirety, fill out the form to the best of your ability and email it to [email protected], and FELTG will contact you to collect the missing information by phone.
In order to take advantage of early bird pricing and guarantee your spot in a training, we recommend early registration.
How do I know I am enrolled in a Live Training?
Registration forms will be processed within seven days of receipt, and participants will receive email confirmation of enrollment. If you do not receive an email confirmation from FELTG within seven days of registration submission, you are not registered. If you submit a registration form and do not receive confirmation within seven days, please contact us at [email protected] or 844-283-3584. Registrations are confirmed subject to space availability. If a program is sold out, participants will be placed on a waiting list based on the order in which the registration was received.
Can FELTG save a space for me in a class while I wait for my approval?
FELTG cannot save a seat for an incomplete registration. Training spaces are offered on a first-come basis. Registration forms missing payment information are not sufficient to hold a seat.
What technical requirements do I need in order to attend a FELTG live training?
FELTG uses Zoom webinars. Please visit the Zoom website for technical requirements. If your agency’s firewall does not allow you to log on via the webinar platform, you may dial in and follow along via telephone.
How do I bring a FELTG course to my agency?
From the training page, select Agency Direct under Type. Click the training you want, and fill out the information form on the right side of the page. A FELTG professional will reach out to you and provide you with a proposal for the training.
If you don’t see the training you are looking for, you may also inquire by emailing [email protected] and providing the following information:
- Your contact information.
- The course name.
- An estimated number of attendees.
- Whether you want virtual or onsite training.
- When you would like the training to be held.
What if I’m registered but I won’t be at work the day of the training? Can I name a substitute?
Substitutions may be made at no cost with advance notice to FELTG. We kindly request 24 hours’ advance notice. No substitutions will be permitted within one hour of the training start time.
How much does FELTG training cost?
Training cost depends on the type of the training and the length of the training session. Each Live Training event page contains program pricing. Contact [email protected] to receive a proposal with pricing for Agency Direct training.
What forms of payment can I use to pay for FELTG training?
FELTG accepts MasterCard and Visa, EFT, and certified checks. You may submit an SF-182, purchase order or other funding document with a course registration, and FELTG will invoice Net 30 terms based on the instructions in the document.
Do I have to pay for the training the day I register?
You can choose Pay Now or Pay Later when you register. Pay Now – your credit card payment will be processed when we process your registration. Pay Later – payments by credit card will be processed when registration is received, unless you request to defer payment (this request must be made in writing and registration sent via email or fax). SF-182 and purchase orders will be invoiced on Net 30 terms after the conclusion of the training.
Does FELTG offer CLEs?
All CLE applications are the responsibility of individual training participants. However, FELTG applied for and was granted CLE credit in VA for several trainings. If you are a member of a state bar other than Virginia, you must submit for CLEs on your own, but FELTG is happy to support any documentation requests your state may need.
Does FELTG offer HRCI credits?
Yes, FELTG offers general HRCI recertification credits for all live training classes.
Can I buy recordings of FELTG’s virtual training sessions?
A number of FELTG webinar and virtual recordings are available for purchase.
Does FELTG provide closed captioning for its web-based events?
FELTG does not provide captioning, but upon request agencies may send a captioner to any training where a registered participant is in need of the service. FELTG will provide the captioner an access link at no cost to the agency, and the captioner may use whatever captioning software is permitted by the agency.
Are FELTG’s trainings held in accessible facilities?
All of FELTG’s onsite live training classes are held in accessible facilities. Since each facility is different, please contact FELTG at least two weeks prior to the training in order to guarantee accommodations.

What is FELTG’s refund policy?
Pay Now option waives all cancellation policies and will not be refunded or given credit toward future courses. Pay Later option allows cancellation of registrations up to 30 days before the training is to start. Cancellations made after the 30-day deadline will not be refunded or given credit toward future courses. Pre-payments and No-shows will not be refunded or given credit toward future courses.
What is FELTG’s cancellation policy for Live Trainings?
No cancellations are accepted within 30 days of the training start date. No cancellations are accepted on Pre-paid registrations. There are no refunds for No-shows.
